Summer is the season for spending late nights outside camping and enjoying a favorite summer dessert....S'MORES! They come in so many different shapes, flavors, and varieties now, so today I thought I would feature some delicious S'mores recipes. Some, you might have tried....and some you might not! Hopefully you'll find a new favorite!Peanut Butter & Jelly S'mores:
Ingredients:
2 Graham Crackers
Strawberry or Grape Jelly
Peanut Butter
Marshmallow Fluff
Directions:
Spread one graham cracker with the jelly and the other with the peanut butter. Either add the marshmallow fluff between both or add on top. Devour!
White Chocolate S'mores:
Ingredients:
White Chocolate
2 Chocolate Graham Crackers
Marshmallows
5 Raspberries or 2 Strawberries (halved)
Directions:
Roast the marshmallow. You can either heat it over a fire, the stop, or in the microwave. Place the hot marshmallow on one of the chocolate graham crackers. Let the piece of white chocolate over the hot marshmallow and wait 30 seconds to 1 minute for it to soften. Then add another hot marshmallow to the remaining graham cracker add the fruit on top, the additional marshmallow will hold the fruit. Then sandwich the s'more.
Nutella & Banana S'mores:
Ingredients:
Tub of Nutella
1/2 Banana
Roasted Marshmallow
2 Graham Crackers
Directions:
Spread Nutella over one of the graham crackers. Cut up half of a banana and place the pieces on top of the Nutella spread. Add a warm roasted marshmallow on top of the banana and sandwich with the remaining graham cracker.
Double Chocolate S'mores a la Mode:
Ingredients:
2 Chocolate Graham Crackers
Dark Chocolate Bar
Vanilla Ice Cream
Directions:
Prepare just like you would a regular s'more and place in a small bowl. Add a scoop of ice cream over the top and eat with a spoon!
Cinnamon Apple S'mores:
Ingredients:
Vanilla Sugar
Cinnamon
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
2 Peeled and Sliced Apples
1/2 Cup Apple Juice
Cinnamon Graham Crackers
Milk Chocolate Bar
Mini Marshmallows
Directions:
In a bowl, mix the apples with the lemon juice, apple juice, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon until they are well-coated. Add the apples and mixture to a frying pan over medium heat. Stir regularly and cook for 5 minutes to soften the apples. Place the bottom graham cracker on a plate and top it with chocolate. Add piping hot apples on top of the chocolate bar. Add mini marshmallows on top of the apple mixture and sandwich with the final graham cracker.
Peanut Butter S'mores:
Ingredients:
8 Large Chocolate Chip Cookies
4 Tsp Hot Fudge Ice Cream Topping
4 Large Marshmallows
4 Peanut Butter Cups
Directions:
Spread the bottom of 4 cookies with fudge topping. Grill the marshmallows until golden brown. Carefully place a marshmallow and a peanut butter cup on top of each fudge topped cookie. Sandwich with remaining cookies. Enjoy!
