Vroom, Vroom!

I stumbled upon this adorable Race car themed 1st birthday party and had to share. The event was put together by A Perfect Event in Chicago. I could go on and on about it but the pictures speak for themselves! You can read about more event details here.

Each place setting had a steering wheel placemat, a racing napkin, and an engine hose clamp as a napkin ring! How clever!

Love the little race car wheels on top of the cupcakes!

What a great cake!

"Stoplight" floral displays!

Christmas in July

It may be over 100 degrees here, but in Australia it is their winter season. And how perfect that Tracey Lau, Art & Soul, from Australia, styled this gorgeous Christmas in July event. These photos really make me wish it was winter here. How amazing are these shots?! I am swooning over those adorable Tiramisu in a mug. How sweet! All of the details are stunning and oh so chic. I am in love! Head over to her wonderful site for more dazzeling inspiration.

Over the Rainbow

I fell in love with these cookies from a Rainbows and Race Cars birthday party that was put together by Glory from Glorious Treats. The rest of the birthday party was absolutely adorable as well, but I just love the simplicity and bright colors on this cookie! You could use this design for so many different themes! So cute! Glory features the recipe and tips for her sugar cookies here and a decorating tutorial for icing cookies with royal icing here. You can also find the recipe for royal icing from Wilton here. Happy baking!

Tres Chic

I recently saw these images over at Wedding Style Guide. This tea party is simple but absolutely stunning. The colors and prints work so well together and I adore the tea bag and canister labels. And as a bonus, you can print your own labels here! This party is my inspiration for an upcoming event I am planning for a client. Gorgeous, and oh so chic!

Table Elegance

"What you eat on, is as important as what you eat." That's the slogan from the fabulous company Modern-Twist. The company offers quite a handful of products that are so awesome! They have place mats that are so artistic and stunning that completely add to the elegance of your tables. They also have place mats for kids that you can color, clean, and re-use! The mats are made from a material that won't rip or tear too, what a combo! My favorite would have to be the Coaster Notz. They are coasters that are made of a silicone material that you can write notes on, doodle, or even keep phone messages on! How clever is that! Head over to their site to find even more cool products and order your own!

Caution!

I saw this fantastic Mad Scientist party over at Bug and Boo Designs. Shelley created this amazing party for her daughters birthday. (I love that it was for a girl too! Awesome!) All of the perfect little details, even down to the mustaches and ID badges were so spot on! What a great theme and, of course, I love the attention to detail that Shelley had! I'm sure all of the kids had such a great time, I know I would have if I had been there! Amazing job! Find all of the party pics here.

Canning Love

How adorable are these Canning Party Printables?! They are made from Kristen of Paper Crave. (Btw, her site is FANTASTIC! Be sure to stop on over there!) But I found this fun printable through a few different, equally amazing, sites. First, I spotted them featured on my new site obsession, Erin Vale Design. Love her site! She has featured so many awesome free printable projects and DIY instructions, I could re-post her ideas for days, months even! But the Canning Party was originally featured over at Cottage Industrialist. I love this cute idea for a great summer get together with friends! Head over here to find all of the instructions, as well as the free printables! How fun! And if you are looking for a delish jam recipe to stick in those jars, Erin Vale Design's has a fabulous Strawberry Freezer Jam recipe posted!

Animal Safari

Apparently I have been living under a rock for the last few weeks because I didn't see this fabulous and equally adorable party from Loralee at No Fuss Fabulous until yesterday! It is such a cute party theme and all of the little details she put together are fantastic! Plus, it doesn't hurt that the little birthday boy is as cute as ever! Seriously, I am in love with this party! Check out more pics here.
